Robert R. McEwen (BA, MBA) Chairman

Rob has been associated with the resource industry for 29 years. His career began in the investment industry, then in 1990 he stepped into the mining sector. Rob is the founder of Goldcorp Inc., where he took the company from a market capitalization of $50 million to over $7 billion and he is Lexam's largest shareholder, owning over 50% of the outstanding shares.

Dr. Hugh C. Squair (PEng, BA, Ph.D.) Director

Dr. Squair graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in Geological Sciences in 1959, and completed a Ph.D. and D.I.C. in Mining Geology at the University of London in 1965. Previously, Dr. Squair worked for Lake Dufault Mines, a subsidiary of Falconbridge, as an exploration geologist, and later became exploration superintendent and exploration manager in Noranda, Quebec.

He has also served as a senior geologist, chief geologist and exploration manager with the Selection Trust Group and as Vice-President, Exploration for Newmont Canada. He has been an independent consultant since 1989, and was a technical consultant to the Ontario Securities Commission from 1997 to 2000.

Robert E. Van Tassell (Geo) Director

Involved with the Canadian mining sector since 1956, he has been associated with three discoveries and numerous mining property valuations. In March 2000 he was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Prospectors and Developers Association (PDAC) for his contributions to the Mining Industry. He currently sits on the Board of five junior Mining Companies.

Richard W. Brissenden (CA) Director

Richard has been a director of Lexam Explorations since 1994. Richard is the current Chairman of Excellon Resources and the President of Regal Consolidated Ventures, where both companies are focusing on exploration and development of natural resources. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1972.
